The Gardens of Point Loma Garden Walk

All of us in the Dana Unit Auxiliary feel honored that private owners allow us to share their beautiful gardens and homes and let the garden enthusiasts enjoy and admire their lovely yards -- and it's all in the name of raising funds to benefit Rady Children's Hospital.   Each home's garden is unique to its creative owners and that is a huge part of the joy in walking this event each year.

This year gardens in the Plumosa Park area of Point Loma are featured.  This is an older San Diego neighborhood and most of the homes were built in the 1920s and 30s. It's a bonus to be able to enjoy this historically significant neighborhood while you visit each garden. The diversity of each individual homeowner's garden provides a fascinating tour. You'll see water falls, wonderful outdoor rooms, beautiful canyon decks, magical gardening enhancements, a staghorn fern garden, and so much more!

The homes on the Point Loma Garden Walk will not be revealed until the morning of the walk.  Each year is full of wonderful surprises and the walk is nothing less than inspiring.  Enjoy strolling through the beautiful and unique gardens around Plumosa Park in Point Loma.

Keep your eye out for the red & yellow wooden tulips and the balloons marking each home on the walk!
